The abundance of rain over the past few days has made the lawn lush and green, and the zucchini in the garden are sprouting wildly through the soil. The peonies have begun to bloom, which always make me think of blousy women in Victorian England at the end of a country dance. Pruning the garden and reading once the rain begins again are on the agenda for today.

Today's events...
I took a walk in Victoria Park today, and enjoyed the collage of wonderful colours and smells that always means Spring to me. I cam across a short Zen saying:
"Sitting quietly, doing nothing, Spring comes, and the grass grows by itself"
I thought that was lovely, and sums up the feelings I had while enjoying the season today.
Enjoy the day!
